I was invited to attend the ASIA conference by a couple of luthier pals. I like to plan ahead, so I started looking into getting there. It's a 41 hour drive (NO!). There are no airports, or train stations nearby.

How do you get there?

Unlike things west of the Mississippi, things are a lot closer together on the east coast. The airports in Philly, Wilmington, Baltimore and Washington (and a few others I'm sure) are within driving distance to the venue. Perhaps you can find someone in those areas to hitch a ride with. Renting a car would also be a possibility.

I'm thinking about flying into Newark and then renting a car.
I can get in at 8:04 am or 1:10 pm on the 10th if anyone is interested in sharing a ride.
